Computer Network Analysis

Computer Network Analysis is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Fixed Tactical Internet (FTI) Enhanced Position Locating and Reporting System (EPLRS) communication networks. FTI supports data transfer for digital tracking (FBCB2) Situational Awareness and other digital systems and can provide connectivity to other simulations and training systems.

Responsible for generating and issuing sensitive encrypted communications keys to supported military units and civilian organizations. Maintains secure communications facility requirements IAW TB 380-41, AR 380-5, AR 380-40, and local regulations and SOP's

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Establishes the FTI networks by placing EPLRS RS into operation.
  2. Manages the FTI networks utilizing the EPLRS Network Manager (ENM).
  3. Initializes and operates the ENM for up to six networks.
  4. Track, update, and install ENM Libraries.
  5. Utilizes KOK-13, KOI-18, and AN/CYZ-10 with ANCD software.
  6. Keeps all COMSEC regulations and documents updated.
  7. Generate, issues, accounts for, destroys, and documents all COMSEC key material.
  8. Performs Bi-monthly inventories and maintenance inspections of all assigned CCI equipment.
  9. Fills out all documentation, turns-in, and receives equipment for repairs.
  10. Provides assistance to users on troubleshooting EPLRS and ENM issues.
Requirements:
  1. Active Security Clearance
  2. Prior military experience in the SIGNAL CORPS
  3. EPLRS/ENM/COMSEC experience a plus
  4. Must be able to travel
  5. Must have a valid driver's license

 This position is located in Grafenwohr, Germany.
