VATC Promotes Frank Kuska to Vice President of Operations

TAMPA, Fla., May 5, 2016 — Visual Awareness Technologies and Consulting Inc. (VATC), a leader in providing global strategies, training and technology for secure operations around the world for the U.S. and its partners, announced today it has promoted Frank Kuska to vice president of operations. In this new role, his responsibilities include management and supervision of the company’s global portfolio of Special Operations, conventional, intelligence and medical services support provided by more than 150 employees located around the world.

“Frank is an incredible asset to the VATC family, and we are excited to have him step into this higher-level role managing our global operations and mission support for our defense and intelligence customers,” said VATC co-founder and president Sara Moola. “Frank is well-versed in all things sales, operations and finance, and like many on our team, he also possesses firsthand knowledge and deep understanding of SOF and SOCOM from his military experience. It’s that kind of insight that helps our team go above and beyond our competitors to ensure enduring mission success at an extraordinary level.”

Kuska previously served as portfolio program manager at VATC, where he managed a $35 million IDIQ program supporting global exercises and training with more than 10 cells throughout the U.S. and multiple cells in Europe and the Republic of Korea. He started at VATC as senior strategic planner and played a key role in developing Emerald Warrior, an annual Air Force Special Operations Command two-week joint service, interagency and partner nation exercise. Kuska’s prior experiences included USSOCOM J7 director and chief of the USSOCOM Joint Collective Training Office; commander of the U.S. Air Force Element at NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command at Brunssum, the Netherlands; and SOF branch chief at U.S. Joint Forces Command. Earlier in his career, he spent many years in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator, where he accumulated more than 4,200 flying hours.

Kuska earned master’s degrees in strategic studies from Air University, a component of the U.S. Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command, and in international relations from Troy State University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
