Virtual Close Air Support of our Partner Nations and Conventional Forces

Often meaning the difference between success and failure, Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) have become critically important for US forces and ongoing contingency operations. VATC’s services provide crucial training for combat JTACs in live and virtual environments, supported by VATC’s Air Commandos veteran subject matter experts. VATC currently supports ISR efforts in operational environments and anticipates offering Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (ISR) for training in the future.

Operating since 2003, VATC’s solutions have supported a variety of missions ranging from the 25th Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), to designing, building, and executing ISR and intelligence solutions worldwide.

Proven track record

VATC has provided VCAS training to 25 partner nations and to over 8,000 individual students. This program, virtual close air support training, has resulted in $32 million of total deferred costs, versus live training.
