In 2012, VATC helped establish the nonprofit organization SOFWOLF. Today, VATC maintains a vital role in the operation of SOFWOLF. This nonprofit organization offers college and career outdoor leadership programs for the teenagers of the fallen Special Operations Forces (SOF) community. As part of the program, students are flown to Park City, Utah, where they participate in outdoor leadership training, team building activities, career mentoring, resume building, community outreach, and networking for internships.

The primary goal of SOFWOLF is to make positive impacts on the lives of college and career-bound teen participants. Our mentors come from all different fields; The Olympics, technology, engineering, mountaineers, politicians, CEOs, and recreational therapy. Their mentors sit down one on one with our students and discuss the meaning of success and what it takes to get there.
